If you are trying to connect your PC COM port with any bluetooth enabled device or you aim to know the COM Port of your Bluetooth connected device, here is a tutorial for you
Follow the below steps
Go to
Start -> Control Panel
In Control Panel, type Bluetooth and then click Change Bluetooth Settings .

A dialog box will appear , Click on the tab COM Ports as shown in image below
You can see the COM Port with which your device is connected.
If your bluetooth device name is not listed , then click on ADD and then OK.
For ex here my NOKIA 305 is connected with COM4 directly and COM14 via PC Suite.
*By connecting your phone with serial port of PC, you can send AT commands from your HyperTerminal and your phone will react according to that.Try this cool trick.
